What is ANP Family?
ANP Family is a small independent game studio. We make original games that we find fun and that we could not find anywhere else on the market.
What does ANP stand for?
ANP stands for Alfred and Pupe, the husband-and-wife team behind the studio.
What games has ANP Family made?
Haven of the Gods, Arcane Familiars: Verdant Grimoire, Coreward, and Story Teller. Each has its own site under anpfamily.com.
Are ANP Family games free?
Yes, every game is free to start. Each game page says plainly what, if anything, costs money: Haven of the Gods has nothing to buy at all, and Arcane Familiars has optional extras on phones only.
Where can I play them?
Most run straight in your web browser, on phone or computer. Arcane Familiars: Verdant Grimoire is also on Google Play.
Do you make anything for kids?
Yes. Story Teller is a free illustrated story app for young children in English and Chinese, and Arcane Familiars is family-friendly.
Do my saves carry across devices?
Yes. Games with accounts keep your progress online, so you can switch between phone and computer.
How do I report a bug or suggest an idea?
Use the contact or support options on each game's own site. We read the feedback ourselves.
Haven of the Gods
Is Haven of the Gods free?
Yes. It is completely free, with no ads, no in-app purchases and no premium currency.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs in Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox on phone or desktop. Open hotg.anpfamily.com/play and start.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free email-and-password account. It keeps one save in sync across every device you play on.
What kind of game is it?
An action roguelite with deep ARPG loot: rolled gear, skill gems, talent boards, bosses, trading and async PvP.
Arcane Familiars: Verdant Grimoire
Is Arcane Familiars free?
Yes, it is free to play. The phone apps offer optional monthly passes and rewarded ads you choose to watch; the Windows and Mac versions have neither.
Which devices can I play on?
Android (Google Play), Windows and Mac today. The iPhone and iPad version is on the way.
Can I play with friends?
Yes: co-op rift raids by room code, trading, Circles of up to 20 players and ranked PvP.
Is it suitable for children?
It contains cartoon fantasy battles only, and all characters are original.

What kind of game is Coreward?
A tactical core-defense RPG: you protect a central core from enemies that come from every side, using a roster of summoned characters placed in patrol zones.
Where can I play Coreward?

Do I need an account?
Yes, a free email account. It keeps your roster, saves and progress in sync across devices.
Story Teller
What is Story Teller?
A free illustrated story app for children with short picture stories, comics and chapter books, in English and Chinese.
What age is it for?
Young children, reading on their own or with a parent.
Do we need to sign up?
